I am seeing MAMMA MIA! tonight and I am looking for a restaurant that is open AFTER the show and is not too far from the theater. I usually have a craving for Asian food after seeing MAMMA MIA!

Can anyone help?

Applebee's has a great teriyaki chicken that is just like a cruise to the Orient in your mouth.

I would check out the restaurant guide in the features section of Broadway World. I am sure they will have many ideas. I would normally suggest Corine's Corner since she is supposedly the expert when it comes to things like this, but she only has maybe THREE restaurants listed on her site. And one of those is a chain!

PEACE.

There's a great noodle cart at 8th and 48th. Tell them I sent you and get a free glass of NYC water in a paper cup.

Mention me at Applebee's, and they'll say: "We told that son of a bitch he wan't allowed within 200 feet of this establishment after the last time he was here. Now, get the hell off my property."

there's a macdonalds around there too. they have the most amazing fish sandwiches you can imagine. and if you use the promotional code "supersize" when you order, you get some more food.

oh, and they have the most delicious dessert. it's like ice cream with mini-m&m's mixed in. it's to die for. tell them robbo sent ya, and they'll give ya a dirty look like they don't know what you're talking about. but they do. oh, you bet they do.

If you mention Robb's name at McDonald's, your service will be even slow - I mean, more relaxed.

So...no Denny's or Ihop in Times Square? What is the world coming to?

MammaMia Sammy-

The suggestions everyone has in this thread are good. Would you want a place that served diet coke? Or is wine more to your liking?

*STOP TALKING ABOUT CLOWNS*

I think the bigger question here is why you're going to Mamma Mia.

unfortunately, all that means to rath is that she has someone with whom she could share shoes.

I read somewhere that Bubba Gumps is FABOO, and that really, they have the Corner on the fresh seafood market.

YOSHINOYA!!! Its on 42st. On the block of the Hilton Theater near by the movie theater.
Japanese food.
I usually go there, and now that I work near by, I'll be there a lot!
Its cheap and good.
They have beef w/ rice (which is my pic)
Teriyaki chicken w/ rice and veggies.
Shrimp w/ rice
Now they have a new bbq (chicken I think)
You can also get a larger order that has the beef, teriyaki chicken and the veggies.

This is a "fast food" type place. If you are looking for something for formal, then this is not the place for you.

If money is no object I suggest Blue Fin.
One of my favorite restaurants in Times Square.
If you want great affordable sushi, I love Raku.

Giggles is really good. It's on 40th between Broadway and 6th.
Everything there is good. It's like a pub and has English food and also mean sandwiches. Gotta try their buffalo chicken sandwich.

I love Giggles. They used to make the greatest coconut fried shrimp but stopped it.
City Crab has the best shrimp cocktail in NYC.
The burgers at the Edison are on par with McDonalds.
For burgers I love 21 Club or Jackson Hole.
If you want a frozen patty, the Edison is perfect. When I splurge on a burger I don't want a frozen patty. Updated On: 4/11/06 at 09:36 PM

City Crab might have the best shrimp cocktail, but it's nowhere near where MMS said he/she wanted to go.

The burgers at the Edison are not at ALL on par with McDonalds - and I'd hate for them to read your comment and watch you walk through the door afterwards. What an insult.
