The rush is GENERAL. The last time it was student was when Paige Davis was in the show - she was a VERY big draw that summer. I don't know why the Broadway sites don't update that it is not student anymore.
Oh well. When there is a star in the show getting there about 2 hours before the box office opens is best.
Are you sure? I feel like I got student rush just last spring. My memory's the worst so I could be remembering this wrong, but I could've sworn I got student rush.
Or maybe I just showed them my student ID for no reason and just got regular rush, heh.
Hmm. I rushed the show 2 times in the summer of 2004 (Paige Davis.) Last Spring (Michelle DeJean) and this past October (Brooke Shields.) The only time a student ID was required was the summer of 2004. All other times people of all ages were lined up and all received tickets. They never asked for ID.
I haven't rushed the show for years, but the last time I did my friends and I all got rush seats and none of us are students.
