We'll have to wait and see since most haven't opened yet. Early candidates:

Rabbit Hole
Well
The History Boys
Festen
Shining City
Primo
Bridge & Tunnel (depending on whether it's considered a play or a Special Event)

I really really hope it's History Boys. I love it so much, I really hope it's as well received in NY as it was here. :) I'm just a bit worried it's too English, but this might be unfounded. Also the second cast was better than the original cast who are going over, but still, they are fabulous.

If deemed a play, Bridge and Tunnel will win.

I absolutely loved Rabbit Hole.

Oh I don't think so. While Jones is talented, the play is more just a showcase for her mimickry skills than a great piece of writing. It's not remotely in the same class as Well (which is far and away the best new play I've seen in YEARS), or, from what I've heard, History Boys, Festen or Shining City.

I saw Festen in London, and it is FANTASTIC. Very dark, very haunting. It was sublime. I didn't know it was coming to Broadway! I'll definitely go see it again.
