Hi, for a class I'm taking, I'm supposed to come up with a list of projected broadway musicals. Not musicals so much as Tarzan and Lestat that are pretty much definate, but ones more like Legally Blond and 9-5 that are just beginning work as we speek. If someone can help me out in coming up with more "projected musicals" it would be greatly appreciated. I've come up with Legally Blond, The Apprentice, Lord of the Rings, Mary Poppins, Evita, 9-5. Thanks!

But Mary Poppins is not in the U.S. yet, and Evita does not have definate plans for Broadway yet (as does Mary Poppins). But thank you!

LORD OF THE RINGS doesn't have definite plans for Broadway, either.

"and Evita does not have definate plans for Broadway yet"

So are you just discounting the 17 previews and 1567 performances that it's already had?

The Princess Bride is another one. Guettel and Goldman are currently writing it. Umm...was Shrek mentioned? Along with Catch Me If You Can. There's also Spiderman by Bono and The Edge.

"Not musicals so much as Tarzan and Lestat that are pretty much definate..."

Wait, so NOT Tarzan which is definite... but you're still counting Mary Poppins as "projected" because it's not here yet? But this show is definitely coming to Broadway.

You're not making sense with these categorizations.

EDIT: Why are we doing your homework for you?

As was previously posted, just go to Playbill.com.

And I agree, best12bars--there seem to be a lot of threads like this (not current ones, but still...), and it always amazes me that people can't figure out how to research their homework on their own.
