Curtain Call - Little Eponine and Cosette

Hey guys. I saw the Les Miz tour in Boston on Friday and I noticed that curtain call did not include the little girls! Did this happen in NYC during its run? I know these girls are young and are out of the show by the middle of Act1 but I still think its wierd. I feel like curtain call is the time to really thank the actors for the show they just put on but unfortunately they don't get to see our appretiation. Is it the child laws? Anyway...I just thought it was different! And just to tell ya'll...one of the best tours I've ever seen. It was great to have almost the full final Broadway Cast in this tour.

When I saw the show on Broadway, they were in the curtain call. However, since the show runs 3 hours and probably the curtain call wouldn't be until after 11 pm, I think it is up to the parents of the children to decide whether they do the final bow or not.

The girls did not participate in the curtain call on Bway for evening performances because it was so late & their time was better spent going home & getting rested for school the next day. They did, however, participate for matinees.

Yeah, I saw at matinee of Les Miz and the three children came running out in their little costumes- Little Eponine and Cosette running out with the last line of ensemble players that contained little parts through out the show. Gavroche came out later, since we all know his role is so demanding. Poor litle Gavroche- made me cry my eyes out in the show.

Years ago when Les Miz had its long run in LA, the little girls were not around for the curtain call. The little guy was, but then he's in the show quite a while in the second half.

Usually both girls only bow on matinees or if it's a special day for them (like if it's their last show).

However, you can't have just Young Cosette or just Young Eponine bow -- it has to be both. I'm not sure why.
