Did anyone see the Simpsons tonight? They had a little mini-musical mirroring Evita. At the end they had a note that said the producers had never heard of a musical based on the life of Eva Peron. Anyone see it?

The note at the end was the only ammusing part. It wasn't one of their better musical episodes. re: Simpsons

it had it's amusing moments, but the song parodies were not up to their usual level of lethal wit. but as far as cartoon parodies go, my favorite is still the animaniacs version of west side story with the pigeons vs. the sparrows. the version of america with the refrain, "i want to perch on scorsese's head?" i still giggle.

I thought the episode was hilarious! I loved all the little touches like Lisa's campaign poster (in the style of the Evita logo) and changing some of the lines of the songs (Osh Gosh'B Gosh Me instead of Christian Dior Me). Eyes, Glamour, Hair, Millhouse!

The disclaimer at the end was the icing of the cake!

Loved it (as I always love the Simpsons)!
