Ok, we've had long discussions about this before, but I just wanted to ask a question. There is a non-Equity Oliver tour going out. My understanding about reading the article is that Cameron Mackintosh is producing it? Is that correct?

The tour is definitely Non-Equity, and NETworks is producing it. Is is solely based on the Cameron-Macintosh production.

Posted: 11/11/03 at 1:41pmI have a question regarding this tour , as well as all other non eqity tours. Are the production team ( designers, director) union? How about the crew, and the orchestra, are they union? My guess would be they are. Most theatres they go to would probably insist on a union crew. How can they get away with non union actors? Why don't the other unions supoort each other?

Posted: 11/11/03 at 9:51pmThis would be the new(1996) Cam Mac version. It is billed as 'the Cameron Mac Intosh Production' though he is not actually producing it. He will turn up one week prior to opening to make sure it stands up to having his name attached to it. Then head home.
