I am listening to AOL Radio (Showtunes station) and they are playing "Suddenly Seymore" from LITTLE SHOP and it says it is from a 1982 Bway cast.
I had thought LSOH had only gotten to Off-Bway and not Bway?
"The Spectacle has, indeed, an emotional attraction of its own, but, of all the parts, it is the least artistic, and connected least with the art of poetry. For the power of Tragedy, we may be sure, is felt even apart from representation and actors. Besides, the production of spectacular effects depends more on the art of the stage machinist than on that of the poet."

We used to have an AM station on Long Island that featured show music in the afternoons. However, the anouncer was a girl fresh out of college who was totally clueless. I recall her playing "I Remember It Well" from the movie GIGGI (pronounced the way a musician would play a "gig") and that one of its performers was Her-mee-on (not Hermione) Jin-gold (not Gingold).
She also spoke about the "LamBERT Walk" from ME AND MY GIRL.
