Careful, you 'll be called a shill next.

Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.

I've got tickets for the third preview - Wed. evening,December 22 - mezzanine -third row center.

Here's why they are already sold out:

Three months ago, they started selling subscriptions for the entire "Broadway in Chicago" series.

Two months ago, individual tickets became available to American Express Gold Card holders.

One month ago, tickets became available to "Preferred" Carson Pirie Scott customers.

By the times the box office opened for sales to the "general public" this past Monday, all the good seats were gone.

Tickets were also available to Monty Python Official Fan Club Members. I think they are as obsessed as Trekies! That could also be a big factor. I don't think they will extend the Chicago run. I was lucky enough to get great orchestra seats. It was a total fluke.

PEACE.

Limited view seats are still available, so it is not completely sold out. Usually, tickets open up on the day of the show as well. I have never been unable to get a ticket to a Broadway Series show.

PS - It is entirely possible that all seats have not yet been released to the general public if the promotions are still active. Usually, a block of seats will be placed on hold until all the advance promotions have been processed and assigned seats. If they are still offering tickets through promotions, then it is very likely there are still seats available that have not been released. It's not fair to the general public, of course, but business is rarely ever fair.

PopCultureBoy..I indeed hope to be called a shill!

After the sickening amount of bull**** from those Crooklyn children that has clogged this board, why not talk about a show that actually has substance and quality wich someone has actuallty has put some thought into.

I perfer to SPAM for SPAMALOT..not shill!

I wasn't in Chicago during The Producers, but Movin' Out and Sweet Smell didn't sell out, so there was no need for extensions. But I did work with the Broadway Series for 10 years, so I'm not just blowing smoke.
