i was just wondering... is there a specific role in a show that resembles you at all? my answer would be eponine from les miserables... the whole 'on my own' song described my life for a while
also i can definately relate to elphaba from wicked... im not exactly a normal/popular gal
and though i cant directly relate to any of the characters from rent, every time i see the show i feel like i could live next door to mimi or be friends with collins.theyre just so... real... if that makes any sense

I've always had a very strong connection with Mark Cohen of RENT.
But I see little bits of myself in many different characters (non-gender-specific) in many different shows... Princeton in AVENUE Q... Caroline in CAROLINE, or CHANGE... Elphaba in WICKED... Jonathan in TICK, TICK...BOOM!
I love seeing pieces of me in characters; well, love it and hate it because sometimes those pieces aren't exactly positive...But, then again, why go see theatre but to relate and connect?

Millie and Elphaba.
I am probably most like Millie... I am very straightfoward and driven. I love her awkwardness. I hope I can find a Jimmy!
Elphaba absolutely just tears me up. We share insecurities and aspirations. I love her frankness. I had just assumed people would understand her but when I made my sis listen to the CD she just didnt get why Elphaba acted the way she did in certain circumstances. I understand her layers.
I think I look more like Glinda on the outside but Elphaba on the inside.
