So i picked up a part in a children's version show of Cinderella playing Prince Charming this week..

I went to try on the vest to my costume and it says

Voltaire
Candide
Barret Foa

on the inside...

I run up to my director and I say, "Did you know that this was Barret Foa's"

and all he said was, "Oh, he must've gone to U of M, that's where I stole these costumes from.."

He was completely oblivious to the fact of who Mr. Foa is, and why I was so excited to be wearing an old piece of his costuming.

But yea, I'm excited that I'm wearing Barret's old vest!

Make sure you get to keep the vest.

That's amazing! I wish I could get into Barrett Foa's pants! re: I get a kick outta this...

And I also found it funny how non-chalant your director was about telling you he stole those costumes....

Which entirely justifies stealing it after the production, don't you think? re: I get a kick outta this...

Speaking of - I went to dance class at Broadway Dance Center yesterday - and afterwards decided to go to Jamba Juice in the AOL Time Warner Bldg - and who should be in line right beside me, but Barrett Foa - He was by himself - ended up sitting at a table alone with some sheet music he was going over - thought about talking with him, but didn't want to disturb him from what he was working on...

EDIT: I also wore the same costume in My Fair Lady at TUTS that Max von Essen wore when he played Freddy.

That's happened with a couple of Broadway stars I was only a few feet away from (Christy Romano, Gavin Creel, etc.). I hate to disturb them, even though they probably have a lot of people always coming up to them for pictures. So I don't bother them. But I did walk up to Susan Egan once and ask to take her picture with me, and she was kind enough to take a couple of minutes for a pic.

So the general consensus is that I gank the costume after Saturday?

I can just see it.

"That Christopher kid did well with us in Cinderella...how bout we call him back for another show?"
"Didn't he steal one of our costumes?"
"Oh yea...forget about him then!"

Plus I'd feel kinda stalkerish...but hey...I could probably sell it on e-bay!

"I don't really get the ending, all i can go with is when after several months,Judith saw Pat sang, and later she kissed him on the toilet, after that the story back to where Pat went down from the stage after he'd sung, and he went to the italian lady.I just don't get it,what Judith exatcly meant when he kissed Pat that she had seen, and did Pat end up together with The Italian Lady? Please help me,thank u very much!" Quote from someone on IMDB in reference to a movie he/she didn't understand. Such grammar!

To fully do a Lupone, you'd have to then sell it on ebay.

Nothing precious, plain to see, don't make a fuss over me. Not loud, not soft, but somewhere inbetween. Say sorry, just let it be the word you mean.
