He would, but I would prefer seeing him in something new, rather then taking over for someone else.

I agree I think that Kelsey would be good there. I wish I could have seen his MACBETH or his SWEENEY TODD. He is so hilarious doing those Gilbert & Sullivan parodies on THE SIMPSONS.

And quite right it was at the wedding episode that Bebe grabs the spoons. I thought she also belted part of a number then too, or maybe we just hear it through the open kitchen door. Very good tracking of her musical theatre skills on that sitcom....

Kelsey sings "Isn't It Romantic?" on the karaoke machine during Wedding Bell Blues and I adore his voice. He rocks my socks off. I think he'd make a GREAT Cladwell against my Hope. LOL! Emily as Penny and Gavin Creel as Bobby Strong. There's my dream cast. Oh, and OF COURSE, Flae would be my Little Sally. :)

Bebe does sing for a second before she grabs the spoons. She sang quite a bit on that show... at first the bar members were all like, "What a set of lungs" and then they started poking fun at her voice, which annoys me slightly. :)

Moving away from Cheers and going back a few years;

On I Love Lucy, a series of misunderstandings leave the Ricardo's and Mertze's with only two theater tickets for four people. Eventually, the four share two seats.....What is the title of the play they are seeing?

I have no idea Orion, but wouldn't it be funny if it were something like "THREE MEN ON A HORSE".....

The Ricardos and the Mertzes fought over tickets for THE MOST HAPPY FELLA!

And back to LOVE BOAT: THE MUSICAL... it was Della Reese, NOT Pearl Bailey as Isacc's Mother. Although watching it it is clear they wanted Bailey.

If you got the I Love Lucy question right, I am very impressed! That is rare TV trivia!!

My perfect day would begin at on the beach in Hana, Maui and end at a Broadway Musical.

I loved TADPOLE too. Just rented it a few weeks ago. (Hey...I saw Bebe on the cover, like I *woudln't* rent it). Very, very good movie. A wee bit....alarming, at points, but a good movie. Yay Tadpole!

Sigourney Weaver is great in TADPOLE too. And she can sing...was in THE FROGS the first time (in the pool, prior to the Nathan Lane/Stro/City Center upcoming version) and she also did those hilarious musical parodies with Christopher Durang, televised on Saturday Night Live but I'm sure presented elsewhere live. What would Sigourney be good in for Broadway?!?!

Alien: The Musical

LOL Just kidding. Actually, I don't know if I could pick a previously written role that Sigourney coud play. I think she would need an original role.

And this is the post that pushed me into the leading Actor spot. How depressing Sigourney Weaver LOL

I loooove Tadpole. It's insanely fun... yes, a bit alarming on some level, but once you get past the whole... "nearing middle-aged woman, sleeping with her best friend's stepson" ditty, it's quite the enjoyable movie! :)

maybe Sigourney could headline some of the little-done older shows, like LADY IN THE DARK.

The answer was The Most Happy Fella. I'm also impressed that you got it.
