I have come across something about this year's Drama League Awards from the online NYPost column of Cindy Adams today --

http://www.nypost.com/gossip/cindy.htm

"THE Drama League's 70th annual 2004 awardees get awarded May 14,
the Grand Hyatt. Predating the Tonys, the League's been operating
since 1916. The eight awards will include Donna Murphy of "Wonderful
Town" for musical theater, the Public's producer George C. Wolfe for
directing, City Center for uniqueness. '..."

I guess the award going to Donna is the one for Distinguished Achievement in Musical Theatre ( which I presume refers to the body of work done in this field). Does this mean that Donna Murphy may still be nominated for the DISTINGUISHED PERFORMANCE AWARD?
