I moved from U.K. to the Philippines in November 2020. So what with all the covid restrictions since then that have now all been lifted and plus not much theatre comes to the Philippines. I was thinking of either coming back to the U.K. for a short trip or going to USA for a short trip. I really want to see Back to the future musical and Moulin Rouge musical.  Both are on or coming soon to Broadway or are both on in the west end of London.

in London they have cheap day tickets which are always good seats at a  good cheaper price. Do they have the same thing on Broadway?

Dose the USA have good touring theatre of Broadway musicals. Sometimes in the U.K. the touring versions have a smaller set and smaller cast as lots of the U.K. theatres in other parts of the U.K. are smaller sometimes that means the show dose not look or feel as good as when it was on in London’s West end. Other times it’s fine and just the same as the London west end production.
mid there really any difference if you see the same show in West end or Broadway. I know that if the same show is on in both London and New York if it’s sort of a comedy then the will change the jokes and some lines in the show. So that it fits better with the country it’s shown in. But apart from that that’s all I now that’s different.

NYC has TKTS, which is 50% off (sometimes not quite 50%) tickets day of show and often day before for matinees.

NYC prices are much higher than London in general.

Touring productions range from excellent to pretty bad.  They are usually less expensive than Broadway and often have smaller orchestras and less elaborate sets, but the acting and singing is generally quite good as there are so many talented actors out there

The TKTS Booth on Duffy Square is NYC' equivalent to London's Leiscester Square
