Kevin Love of the NBA plays for the Cleveland Cavaliers and yesterday he donated $100,000 to help the workers at the arena survive while the NBA season is suspended, what a kind and generous act. Would be nice to see some Hollywood millionaires do the same thing for Broadway people affected by the shutdown .
It's nice of them but it's ridiculous that the players have to do this when the owners are billionaires. At least some of them like Mark Cuban are doing the right thing and paying the workers themselves.

You are correct about the owners but it warms my heart to see somebody like Kevin Love understand how lucky he is and willing to give back in a time of need. He is a special young man, he has had issues with mental depression and has spoke out on the issue of getting help.
Not only do I think that what Love and the other players are doing is above and beyond amazing. I also really love how Kevin Love has been open about his battles with mental illness and getting help. There’s a football player named Branden Marshall who played both for the Chicago Bears and New York Jets who did the same thing as well. I applaud their efforts because in the world of sports being open about an issue like mental illness which has a stigma attached to in pro sports and beyond is not an easy thing to do/
