Your Favorite Theater(s)

Do you have favorite theaters, anywhere in the world?  Please share your special memories.

For sentimental reasons, my favorite theater is London's Theatre Royal Drury Lane.  My first introduction to musical theater was in this historic and beautiful structure In the late 1960s,  I had the pleasure of seeing  Dora Bryan in Hello, Dolly (1968); Ginger Rogers in Mame (1969); and Carol Channing in Carol Channing and Her Ten Stout Hearted Men (1970).  In the years since, I have spent many happy evenings there.  I understand the theater is currently being renovated and will reopen in September 2020.
