I apologize if theres already a thread started for this play, but I looked both through the in-app search feature & also by searching on the Internet and I couldnt find one.

I already started another thread regarding among other things whether I should include this on my upcoming trip. I only have three slots left & four shows left including this one.

Anyone see it in London? The consensus seems to be that the play is so-so, but predictably Laura Linney is spectacular. I do note that critics seem to have loved it.

I was able to see this in London from fairly close up. I've long admired Laura Linney on stage and screen, and she didn't disappoint.    As a one person show, she portrayed the characters wonderfully and it was always clear which person she was.  The play was fine but not overly engaging or impactful for me.    While watching Laura certainly held my interest for the duration, several times I perhaps was waiting for more dramatic arc, or catharsis or revelation.

Perhaps it would have worked better as a multi person play, can't say for sure.   But I think if you go in with expectations that this is an intimate, subtle, low key show,  Laura could be reward enough.

Thanks, I ultimately decided to give this a pass. I’m sure Linney will be luminous, but I decided to revisit Hadestown and see von Hove’s new take of West Side Story on my two remaining weekday slots.
