No offense to Ahrens and Menken, but do we really think this musical is good enough to make a movie out of? I'm all for things getting preserved, but I'd choose some other things over this!
You know what I love the score to this production. It is ideally suited for the transer to film and as a sucker to anything Dickens, I say bring it on.

I think it's ideally suited for film. I just wish it was a feature production rather than made-for-television. Ever since I saw the show years ago, I thought it would probably be quite successful as a holiday feature film.

and Kelsey's a pretty good singer too, as evidenced by the showtune-crooning Sideshow Bob on The Simpsons. His rendition of HMS Pinafore was priceless.
