Young Frankenstein. I was in London a few weeks ago and caught both shows. Unlike many people here and in New York, I am not a fan of School of Rock, so perhaps my opinion isn't exactly what you're looking for. Young Frankenstein was funny - delightful. School of Rock left me cold. A rather annoying main character and a bunch of kids screaming at me for 2+ hours. Young Frankenstein.

Definitely Young Frankenstein - it is stripped down versus the Broadway production but works very well in the Garrick with a great cast. I saw SoR a while back with the original cast so not sure how much has changed since then. It was fine but I found it enough to see it once.

YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN is the one to see I did the day tickets for Saturday night's show and the 25 £ price for second row was terrific.
It works this time.

I am in the minority here and I did not like "Young Frankenstein at all, thought it was very lame and Mel Brooks did much better with "The Producers".  I had a blast at "School Of Rock, the kids are great and Alex Brightman was amazing as "Dewey". Matter of fact, if it was not for "Hamilton" being the same year most Broadway critics thought Brightman would have won the Tony award for best actor in a musical.
