I just wonder if Jesus Christ Superstar whch is going to be playing at the Regents part Open Air Theatre in London is worth going to see? It's the same production that played at this theatre last year. I see 4 of the cast that were in last years production are back but the rest of the cast are new to this production. I have never seen Jesus Christ Superstar before.

I love rock musicals like American Idiot, Rocky Horror Show, We Will Rock You, Tommy and School Of Rock.

Also what's it like seeing a show at this theatre? What happens if it rains and where are the best seats in the theatre?

I didn't see it - but most of what I read was highly positive about last year's production.

Here is theatremonkey's diagram with seat opinions:  Good Seats?

And the weather policy:  Rain? The show most likely will go on!

Yes.

I saw it last year and Im hoping that I'm able to get back this summer to see it.

There were some bits I didn't like, but some really pleasing moments. I thought it was a really interesting interpretation of the production visually, whilst the music was pretty verbatim.
If possible I'd suggest sitting on the left side of the seating for one key moment in Act 2 that is great.
If its light rain or intermittent they will continue or try their best to. If its a downpour and becomes unsafe for actors then they will cancel the production and your ticket is redeemable at another performance.

Yes. The production is pretty good, and Tyrone Huntley is phenomenal as Judas.
