An update on today's line, there are about 9 people in line currently. I am currently the eight ticket so I am feeling pretty good about getting into the matinee

I believe that was the "OMG the original cast is leaving scare of July '16"! Lately it seems people have been getting tickets after lining up as late at 10-11am, depending on the amount of tickets given out of course, but no more full-blown camp-outs, it seems!

Side note: I don't recommend lining up at 10am! Those people have to sweat it out a lot more than the ones who lined up at 6am, I'm just saying it's not unheard of lately for someone who gets in line at that time to get tickets for an evening performance. :)

Hi everyone!! I did the line back in june and only waited 15 hours, on a wednesday for the evening show. I would like to do the line again before school starts. I'm busy on tuesdays and wednesdays now though. What days are the best to go besides those??

So just to confirm, getting there around 7am is now feasible again? In October I arrived around 8:45 and I was 2nd in line.

When I lined up a couple of weeks ago I believe everyone that arrived around seven or eight got tickets that evening.

That was for the evening show and NO tickets were offered until about 6pm for the 7pm show.

I was watching Stubhub for tonight's show, because I am planning to do the line for next Saturday's matinee or get last minute Stubhub seats. Tonight there were 5, row T, center orch tickets that got down to 169!

My understanding has been that Richard Rogers theatre requires printed tickets. If that's the case, how do you print those last minute (sometimes literally last minute, or 5 minutes) Stubhub tickets in time for the start of the show? There are hotel business offices where you can pay to use a computer to print them, but that's not very reliable, given that there are often people waiting in line to use them.

If you can't use the hotel across from Richard Rogers, StubHub does allow you to print at their LMS center it is on 40th between 6th / broadway. It's about a 10 minute walk depending how slow/fast you walk.

They do...as soon as you walk into their temporary LMS (while the regular one gets upgraded) you will see computer off to your left hand side. If you are picking up hard tickets you just see the people at the counter.

I saw row B seats 2 ,4, 6, 8 selling as singles for $350 ($422 after fees). I've sat there and that was the lowest I've ever seen those go. When I sat in row B seat 1, the face value was $549 so that price for today was a good deal.

That's helpful. Though one has to keep in mind that there could be a wait at Stubhub, and that traversing several blocks in Times Square can be slow going. So, it depends on just how "last minute" the tickets are.

The closest I've purchased is 15 minutes to curtain about 3 times. I sit in the 8th floor lounge area of the Marriott and watch prices and rows on my phone, sometimes for 30 min. As the prices get lower and the availability of my desired row get slimmer, I buy my ticket then I log into one of the computers in the FedEx Office and print my ticket. That all takes about 3 minutes and about $2.00 the show has never started at 7pm or 8pm sharp so even if one buys 10 to curtain, there's still time to get down and to your seat. I've never had a situation of a line for using computers to print. There are 5 to use.

I purchased a pick-up only ticket and the walk back from StubHub to the theater took more like 20 minutes. My husband an I walk fast but we couldn't duck out of the way of the masses and tourist. They impede whatever quick stride you may have and you're left to swim in a molasses of people to the theater.
