I am planning to purchase tickets this Saturday to either the Nance or Cinderella at the TKTS booth in Brooklyn and was wondering the price ranges people have been experiencing because I would like to have enough cash. I know they take credit card but I only have cash.
Just going by tonight's numbers. Cinderella was 50% off, and their top ticket price for this Saturday is $147. The Nance was listed as 40% tonight and their top ticket price for Saturday is $132. There is a $4 service charge at the booth. I would recommend having cash for whatever those numbers work out to (I'll let you do the math there) as I don't think they let you choose which seats you get, so you may be paying for a top price orchestra seat, or you may get a cheaper seat in the mezzanine or balcony.
And that is of course assuming that the 50%/40% discounts stay the same for the weekend.
THE NANCE seems to almost always be 40%, Cinderella I've seen vary a bit.
Words don't deserve that kind of malarkey. They're innocent, neutral, precise, standing for this, describing that, meaning the other, so if you look after them you can build bridges across incomprehension and chaos. But when they get their corners knocked off, they're no good anymore…I don't think writers are sacred, but words are. They deserve respect. If you get the right ones in the right order, you can nudge the world a little.
Get the TKTS app for your phone. I have one for Android and I'm sure they have them for iphone. You can see what the discount that day was posted as before you head over there so you can make a stop at the ATM if you need to.
