Yes, sorry about that... My account won't allow me to edit posts--otherwise I would. Anyway, we're on page two, and I won't be doing that again.

Ent Tonight has a three minute video behind the scenes of the photo shoot with some sound bites and, no big surprise, an emphasis on the pretty newer young cast members (and only a few OLTL members as they don't start shooting for another 10 days.) Still, it's nice to see.

And the on-air Ent Tonight minute long segment (which has a bit more about One Life--but not much, this being ET afterall.) Apparently a couple of OLTL cast members weren't there--some due to secrecy (which makes me think they will deal with the Todd/Victor Jr stuff, albeit quickly) and some, like the actresses playing Nora and Dorian due to not being available for the shoot.

I *love* ads like that,and loved seeing it on your FB--ABC used to market the crap out of their soaps, I remember when I became hooked on AMC all of the full page magazine ads for Erica and Dimitri's "Destiny on the Danube" Budapest location shoot, and they stopped around the late 90s. I always thought it seemed counterproductive to run ads only in soap magazines or during their soap block of programming--essentially just preaching to the choir.

Apparently Alicia Minshew is taping a few episodes this week so Kendall will be back--for a bit, Eden has been tweeting. The other excitement from the various actor tweets seems to be that they actually have craft servises (something ABC droppe from their soaps about five years back)--and that some (basic) nudity has been included.

I wondered the same thing, but apparently it isn't--or hasn't been in terms of the contracts daytime had the past few years. Of course part of the need for it now is I don't think the studios in Stamford are even very close to places to get food--unlike the studios in New York and LA they taped at before.

I admit I was very cynical about these shows being taped in Connecticut initially--but the fact that it means that so many New York based actors can return (the reason that David Canary has come out of retirement--not to mention a few of the younger cast members being from a theatre background) is definitely a plus.

I'm pretty happy about those in the cast who are returning. And Minshew-my fav! I hope she's in more than a few.

I haven't been on a set in so many years, that maybe they don't have to provide craft service any more. (that's where I would spend most of my time, lol)

With AMC done its first set of taping and OLTL starting today, they announced that both shows will premier on Hulu, HuluPlus and iTunes (I'm hoping in Canada's iTunes too) Monday, April 19th at 12 noon, ET.

The OLTL one still isn't the complete cast for "spoiler" reasons...

Apparently the themes of the photos were "rebirth" for AMC (I guess they took the title literally,) and Heaven and Hell for OLTL (a reference to the originally planned title for the soap, Between Heaven and Hell.)

She is back--she was filming the web soap Venice (Crystal Chappell--ex Maggie Carpenter from OLTL--soap, and roles on Days and Guiding Light.) I'm not really a fan of those webseries, so I seriously questioned HBS's priorities, but

I really wish Robin Strasser had made it as well--she tweeted that she was stuck at home after wrecking her back (she's had some serious back issues for a while--one reason we didn't see Dorian in the finale.) It doesn't quite feel like OLTL without Dorian being there beside Vicki. Other known contract roles include Rama Petal (Vimal, her husband, is on recurring) and for the first batch of episodes, Roger H of course as Todd.

It was harder to get the OLTL cast together because they don't start filming till next week (I was wrong about this week) and the shots were taken when AMC had already started filming.

I like that the press releases emphasize the point that they think they'll be able to do stronger storylines than they could with all the ABC network interference the last decade or so. I also like that they're already selling both shows as having a kinda different feel--OLTL used to always be a more urban and darker show than AMC, but under ABC daytime head Brian Frons he increasingly tried to package the soaps as being all similar to each other.

And the young (all new) AMC cast. AMC has been pushed forward five years, but in classic soap opera fashion I think most of these characters have been raised 5-10 years.

Clockwise from left is Petey Cortland (who somehow went from nerd to waxed male model, though he does have Palmer/James Mitchell's features), AJ Chandler, Celia (who apparently has some secret ties to some established characters,) and Miranda Montgomery.

*edit* Oh and I forgot Cassandra, Angie's daughter (who she adopted with Jacob, the Jesse look alike back when they were both on the shortlived Loving spin-off, The City lol and was briefly on a few years back. Funny, she was played by an America's Next Top Model finalist last time, and apparently is again now.)

There's still a bit of a mess about the characters of John or Star and their return to OLTL. We only know that Roger H is filming for a month at OLTL and then will return to GH. I have a feeling the others may show up--though frankly I'm fine with all three (but certainly Star and especially John) staying on GH. I was kinda tired of them dominating OLTL--though I understand why people want some wrap up to the Todd/Victor story especially given the cliffhanger at the end of the OLTL finale. (This is just speculation, and they've done a good job at keeping any leaks contained, but as mentioned earlier, I suspect Trevor St John will be back for a bit.)

I'm sure OLTL isn't too happy with the weird loose ends the GH crossover has caused--like Thomas really being, maybe sorta, Alcazar his GH character, etc. So I kinda hope they can address it well enough and move on.

Robin Strasser is back--thank God, sorry if I wasn't clear. She just was too ill to fly down for the photo shoot but she has confirmed she'll be there next week when they start filming.

Yeah Eddie Alderson turned down the opportunity to come back (as did the girl playing Destiny--no great loss acting wise IMHO,) and the gossip is that the scripts between them are pretty controversial (something about Destiny dating sugar daddies for money online... lol But it could have just been a spec script.)

The chick who played Destiny got better, but eh. She's still the mother of Matt's child, so the part needs to stay. I was really liking what they were doing with Matthew, with him becoming more like Asa.

We'll just have to see.

And Tea's still pregnant isn't she? Or will they keep the time line the same. Any word on the time line?

I am just happy that they didn't bring back those annoying, waxed and oiled, Ford brothers (I used to fast forward through their scenes). They had such a sheen glowing from their bodies I almost needed sunglasses to watch the show.
