OK, so I haven't seen it... but I just listened to the score of GHOST. I thought it was stunning. It isn't anything revolutionary, and not every song is great... but some are sensational.

I had heard "With You" which is, to me, one of the best ballads from a new musical in years... but there are other winners, esp. the 1st act closer, and the 2nd act opener.

Makes me want to go buy a ticket... esp. while Caissie is in the company.

I absolutely love the score for Ghost!
Yes there are a few songs like "ball of wax"
That I could do without...but songs like Suspend My Disbelief at the
end of Act 1 and the beginning of act 2 definitely make
Up for it!
I did see the the show last Saturday and thought it was fantastic! The music, and the cast and the special effects are fantastic! It definitely met my high expectations! The audience at that performance seemed to agree! The cast was also super nice at the stage door after the show! Everyone should see this show!

^Ball of Wax and Life Turns on a Dime aren't in the Broadway version.

^Ball of Wax is now "Let Go" and Life Turns On A Dime has apparently been turned to a "Here Right Now (Reprise)" sung by Carl.

Was that true for when you saw the show @siena07?

I have to say, having just seen the show this week -- with low expectations -- I now can't get the entire 9 plus minute sequence at the top of act 2, i.e. "Rain/Hold On", out of my head. I can't fight a show that takes hold of me that way. Caissie Levy's vocals are exciting, and the emotional pull of the music makes the (too) often indecipherable lyrics irrelevant. The story and the tragic circumstance make the music an invaluable as a point of emotional access, and though I resisted (not a big fan of the film), I was pulled in. Can't stop listening to "Suspend My Disbelief," "Here Right Now" and the aforementioned opening of the second act.

It's nice to hear good things about this musical. I don't think it'll be my cup of tea, but I'm glad to see a new Broadway musical get some positive word of mouth.

Wasn't remotely my cup of tea, and I was pulled in, held, and engaged emotionally. Big surprise, this very week.
