I forget... do the matinees start at 2 or 3? Should we be expecting some reviews in a couple of minutes? :)

I don't need a life that's normal. That's way too far away. But something next to normal would be okay. Something next to normal is what I'd like to try. Close enough to normal to get by.

My friend is gonna be there tonight.. if you see someone passed out and unconscious due to sobbing and grief... its most likely her! haha

REALLY SAD to see these to go, but they are on to bigger and better things!

Good luck to both of them. I'm sure they'll have great careers.

BTW: Has anyone heard the status of the pilot Jonathan filmed last year, hope it gets picked up

I think it's possible we will need to have a suicide watch for the fans of Spring Awakening, anyone care to take the first shift?

Seriously, I thought these two kids were brilliant- I hope to see great things from them both soon. I didn't know Groff's going to be in SITP - hopefully I'll find someway to go see him their

hahahaha thanks.

In all seriousness though, I wish both of them the best of luck. I still remember seeing the show three weeks after it opened. I miss the feeling I had when I saw it that very first time. It's time for them to move on and I can't wait to see what they do. It's just sad because I feel like the magic I experienced will never be there in that same way again. I'm sounding like a fangirl. And you know what? I accept it. hahahaa

Hey guys...so I just came back from the matinee. I'm totally not the best person for this review, because this was my first time seeing the show. I went with my 4 really good friends, two of which it was their first time as well. So I can't say I would know if they did anything different, because I've never seen SA before. But I can say that the experience was incredible. Even though it would be hard to tell for a first-timer, it was obvious that today was special. I can't imagine how tonight will be, wow. Lea was amazing, first off. I thought her voice was outstanding as well as her just overall stage presence. I honestly can't picture anyone else in the role, although my friend said he saw Erin (forgot her last name) as Wendla and she was really good too. And Jonathan...oh my. What a cutie! And oh so talented. The energy in theater was insane. People screamed like crazy after every song, and I thought Totally F**ked was gonna get a standing O, because the wild applause went on forever. There were actually plenty of empty seats, which was odd. And I would die to have those onstage seats. That looked so cool! Ah, and stage door. I have some pics, which I'll had to my fan photos in a bit. They were all so sweet, especially Blake and Jonathan. Who was crying before he came out the door, btw. He was talking to his friend and then he just started crying. My friend was flipping out :) But anyway, the show was beyond amazing. I am offically in love with it. I felt so touched by the songs and lyrics, and the energy was intense. I wish Jonathan and Lea the best in everything they do! I hope the show tonight goes just as well, and even better!

Oh wow... I bet they feel like a huge chunk of their soul is leaving them. Groff has been with it for years and Lea! My goodness she created the role when she was 12. I cannot imagine the amounts of tears and bittersweet pride they both have.

I would have given anything for tickets to their final show today! (Though I did the AIDS Walk, so probably would have fallen asleep the minute I sat down in my seat). A friend of mine attended (not knowing it was their farewell performance).

Can't wait to see/hear more!!! CONGRATULATIONS TO THOSE WONDERFUL YOUNG AND TALENTED PEOPLE! May the best still be yet to come!

I was suppose to go but ended up unable to go. :[
I'm sad and been in semi-mourning all day.
I listened to Those You've Known and burst into hysterical crying.

Really? It was sold out on telecharge before. I'm surprised that they would discount tickets when fans were still trying to buy full price today.

Ok wow. Just got back from the evening show. The crowd gave a loud standing ovation as soon as everyone came out and Lea sang the sh*t out of "Mama Who Bore Me". After every song the crowd went wild. "Totally F*cked* was incredible--cheering after Groff said his first line. The ovation went on for so long afterwards. Lea was in tears during the ovation. "Those You've Known" was heartbreaking. During "Song of Purple Summer" people started standing and cheering before the song was even over.

Lea gave the most touching speech after as she was in tears. It was an amazing night.

Sorry a little incoherent here.

Just back...

What an incredible show. The loudest I've heard that theater, and I was in it for Gallagher's last performance as well.

Lea got a standing ovation the minute she came out and stood on the chair. The cast members, who had just come onstage, joined in. She was really "in" the show tonight. Her performance, which I've been critical of in the past, was fantastic tonight. Her voice sounded incredible, and she was in tears most of the evening.

Groff, who is always fantastic, was his usual wonderful self. He had trouble holding it together a few times, particularly during Those You've Known. When he came out during Song of Purple Summer (to thunderous applause), Blake Bashoff bowed to him as he walked by. It was cute.

The energy during Totally F*cked" was insane. People were out of their seats the minute it ended, and there was cheering going on throughout. The cast fed off the energy of the audience during that number, and it was crazy. The applause went on for a good two minutes, and would have gone on longer had they not started the bells.

The rest of the cast was great, but I have to make special mention of Blake Bashoff, who is really an incredible Moritz. He was great the last time I saw him, and I think he grew in the role and got even better. He's really giving a remarkable performance.

Lea Michelle thanked the fans, including the ones who "slept on the street last night," the cast, and her family. Groff also mentioned his family. Both families were sitting a few rows ahead of me, and Groff's mother was beaming throughout and seemed very proud (as she should be!!). During the curtain call, I happened to look to my left, and saw Alexandra Socha (Jenna Ushkowitz was in her ensemble track tonight), Kyle Riabko, Frances Mercanti-Anthony, Jesse Swenson, and some other swings coming down the right aisle to cheer for the cast. They were very supportive and most of them were crying.

I didn't notice any over the top behavior (thank god) from any of the crazier fans, but I didn't stick around for the stage door, which was a mob scene. Everyone appeared to be well-behaved, and enjoyed the incredible show this evening.

Definitely a sad night, but I wish nothing but the best to Groff and Michelle, whose next projects I look forward to, and I say break a leg to Kyle Riabko and Alexandra Socha!

Why are people crying?

I don't get this.

Instead of celebrating a good run in these roles, you're acting like their leaving is a tragedy. They have lives. They have careers. They have to MOVE ON and so do you.

Many times have shows I've loved come to an end. Many times have I sat at the final performance of an actor in a role I love them in.

Yes, part of my heart is sad. But, I'm just so excited to be there and so excited to see what's coming next for them.

You guys talking about hysterically crying are going way too far. This shouldn't affect you like you're claiming it is. It's unhealthy. It's obsessive.

Go for a walk. You'll feel better.
