My friend and I stopped by Saturday around 6 pm and got SRO tickets. I'd almost recommend them over the rush seats - the rush seats are so far to the side you miss out on some of the action on the sides and certain things that happen far upstage.

FYI, SRO is being sold for both shows today.

A Chorus Line revival played its final Broadway performance on August 17, 2008. The tour played its final performance on August 21, 2011. A new non-equity tour started in October 2012 played its final performance on March 23, 2013. Another non-equity tour launched on January 20, 2018. The tour ended its US run in Kansas City and then toured throughout Japan August & September 2018.

Just got word that the remaining shows for this week, including tonight's show, are sold out and SRO will be sold. Not sure if it'll be offered for opening night (Sunday).

"So no general rush is being offered at all?

I'm so encouraged by how they seem to be packing them in thus far, though I know it's early and I realize they're not quite making money hand over fist.  Saw the show during the run in DC over Labor Day Weekend...I just wanted to see a show at Ford's Theatre and didn't REALLY know what I was getting into, but so glad it was this show!

Headed to NYC this weekend, primarily for the Big East Tournament but my team lost today so I've got a bit more flexibility.  Had bought a ticket for The Price over the summer so seeing that Saturday afternoon, but might have to try for SRO at some point.

ACL, this might be a silly question but is Sunday a 3pm curtain or is it actually at night?  I know it's a long shot but would love to get into the official opening and would absolutely get up early to line up if I had to...but this plan only works if it's at 3, as my flight is at 7:30.  Appreciate all the info you're providing!

1.) general rush should still be offered. Those select seats are set aside in advance, though the # of rush tickets might be less than what's been offered.

2.) I don't know the actually time for opening night on Sunday, but it isn't 3pm.

I'm flying across the country with the sole hope that I can somehow snag any kind of ticket for opening night. Sure hope I can manage it.

Crazy? Yes I am.

(Any tips appreciated!)

I asked in the previews thread, but thought I'd ask here.

Can you buy box seats in advance? I'm going in a few weeks and hoping to just buy these a few days before I see it.

Just making sure I understand what you were referring to earlier, ACL. Do you think there will be rush and / or SRO for opening night?

How did opening night go?  And does anyone know what the rush situation is looking like now after the opening?  I really want to bring my friend to see this!

I stopped by around 6:15pm yesterday just to see if there were any cancellations due to the bad weather, and they offered me a $47 seat on the spot!  When I showed back up for the show, to my utter confusion, the place was crawling with news crews and it turns out Justin Trudeau was there, along with a bunch of Canadians, including the actual people the show is written about!  I literally walked in chatting with the actual Diane and Nick and joking with the Mayor of Gander about the snow.  I have never made a better spur of the moment decision!

Found out today that on two show days, SRO won't be sold for the evening show until after the matinee performance begins(generally after 2:00pm).

I figured I'd post this here instead of in a separate thread. This is in regards to the cancellation line for COME FROM AWAY. I knew SRO would be available on Saturday. I walked up to the box office around 12:45pm and asked for 1 SRO for the evening show to which I then found out they don't sell SRO for the evening show on a two show day until after the matinee starts. Anyways, this was when I noticed the cancellation line that had formed inside which had about 20 people waiting. I got my SRO ticket at 3:00pm to which there was already 4 people waiting in the cancellation line for the evening show. A couple that was waiting in that line heard me mention SRO to which they bought two tickets. I walked by the theater around 7:00pm to notice the lobby was crowded. I decided to ask the person working at the door what the line was for and he said "it's the cancellation line". So if rush and SRO don't work out for you, the cancellation line on a Saturday may not be any better. But glad to see a demand for tickets for this show.

Thanks for this information, everyone! I'm hoping to rush for it on Tuesday as it seems like I might have better luck. Did anyone go this Tuesday or last? Hoping to get a rush ticket rather than SRO.

Including tonight's show, SRO will be sold for the rest of the week/weekend. Very happy to see this show selling out.

Thanks for this information, ALC2006. When the performance is sold out like tonight, rush is not an option, correct? I just wanted some clarification because I'm hoping to rush this on Tuesday.

Rush tickets are put on the side for each performance and go on sale when the box office opens. Don't know how many are put aside and it could vary if the show is sold out.
