Audra in Concert  May 10 2018, 11:01:42 AM

It is indeed! She is premiering it I believe. SO EXCITED as I love his work.

Audra in Concert  May 10 2018, 10:17:52 AM

I found the track listing for the live album coming out tomorrow. What an eclectic mix of songs-I love it!

 1. I AM WHAT I AM [La Cage aux Folles]

  2. Medley: IT MIGHT AS WELL BE SPRING [State Fair]/HURRY, IT'S LOVELY UP HERE [On a Clear Day You Can See Forever]

  3. CORNET MAN [Funny Girl]

  4. SING HAPPY [Flora the Red Menace]

  5. SIMPLE LITTLE THINGS [110 in the Shade]

She can do no wrong! Can you elaborate on more of her setlist? Dying to know what else will be included in the recording!

Attending the Tonys  May 3 2018, 12:22:26 PM

Thanks! I tried searching earlier but couldn't find any previous threads. I'll revise my search and hopefully find something.

Attending the Tonys  May 3 2018, 10:44:02 AM

Hello! So my boyfriend surprised me with tickets to The Tony Awards for my birthday this year. I'm ecstatic! Have any of you attended before? What was your experience like? Any tips for a first-timer? Thanks, all!

MY FAIR LADY (2018) Previews  Mar 22 2018, 01:04:50 PM

Just listened to the production from a recording someone posted and WOW it sounds amazing. I am blown away by Lauren Ambrose's voice...and my god, this orchestra sounds fantastic! Very excited to see the show in May.

"If" By Jule Styne might be a good one for you!

2018 Pulitzer Prize  Mar 7 2018, 01:07:25 PM

Oh interesting-I wasn't aware it was required to deal with American life. Looks like the last time an award wasn't given was 2006...

2018 Pulitzer Prize  Mar 7 2018, 01:00:05 PM

That was my initial thought! Would be a great win but I'm not sure the voting committee would give it to another musical so soon. I know it's not a rule, but it seems like they give it to one per decade.

2018 Pulitzer Prize  Mar 7 2018, 11:27:33 AM

With April almost upon us, does anyone have any guesses as to what might be on the shortlist for the Pulitzer this year? I always enjoy hearing people's take on this.

NY Daily News: Ruthie Ann Miles Injured, Daughter Killed By Driver in Brooklyn  Mar 6 2018, 04:06:50 PM

Absolutely horrific! At least Ruthie Ann, Laura, and the unborn baby are all stable. I can't even begin to imagine how these families will repair in the coming months/years.

London Rush/Lottery  Feb 27 2018, 12:04:31 PM

Everybody's Talking About Jamie is absolutely on my list--but it looks like they do a lottery on todaytix rather than rush. I'll definitely be entering it, but I'm gravitating towards shows that I'd be easily able to get tickets too. If something falls through, I'll probably just splurge and buy a ticket for it because I've heard nothing but great things!

Thanks for the feedback, folks! Always appreciate the advice people give on this board.

London Rush/Lottery  Feb 26 2018, 05:25:04 PM

Hi all! I posted this in the West End Message Board, but I feel like that board doesn't get much viewership.

I'll be heading to London at the end of march and had a couple questions. I've been keeping my eye on the Today Tix app and noticed they have many rush ticket options. What's the likelihood of me actually getting these rush tickets? I suppose it depends on the popularity? As of now, the ones I'd be interested in are The Ferryman, Julius Caesar, Gir

Thanks for the recommendations. The website with the days/times is super helpful. Thanks!

Hello all! I'll be heading to London at the end of March and wanted some recommendations on shows and restaurants near theaters! Some ones on my potential list are Dreamgirls, 42nd Street, Long Days Journey Into Night, Everybody's Talking About Jamie, and Amadeus. Any advice is helpful-thanks in advance!
