The price I paid for my ticket was $125, back on initial release. Can anyone comment on the seating? I know the seats are kind of set in a rectangle, but one side has no seats. Are the views good?

Cancellaction line is $125.  I sat in the back row on the right side and had a perfect view.  The theatre is so small that every seat is a great seat.  The production was amazing!

@RestingOtter - Hi, were you in line at 11am for the matinee or evening show? Glad you got in!

Matinee.  People lined up at 5 for the evening and the four there got tickets at 6. Daniel Craig and David Oyelowo did not come out after the matinee, but they did for the evening.  Daniel Craig signed but did not take pictures on the way to his car.  David Oyelowo took pictures, signed, and chatted with people.

Thanks so much for that very helpful info! Was it a big crowd at the stagedoor?

No, there were about ten people.

There was just a ticket release for tonight and tomorrow. Also, my single for the Matinee on Dec 21 is now available on the NYTW website because I didn't want to wait until the end of the month

Yes, thank you for this information.  Did Finn Wittrock come out after the matinee?

I don't think so.  A couple of actors did, but more to get food or meet friends than sign stuff.  From what I heard from people who did staged door more than once, there is no guarantee anyone will come out after matinee.  Especially in the cold between two three hour shows.

Saw this last night. EASILY the best show of 2016 for me. The NYT picks couldn't hold a flame to what's going on in this show. Incredible performances all around, amazing direction. The whole thing blew me away.

So I watched this last night not knowing the premise of Othello

Therefore, mildly confused during the first act, but the second act is when it gets really good!  I'm more of a musical person, but must say that I would watch this play again in a heartbeat.  Keep your eyes on their website!  I was able to buy a ticket the day before.

Multiple celebrity sightings in the audience.

As for stage door, Daniel Craig came out maybe 30-40 minutes after the show ended and signed about 5-6 autographs (not for everyone) as he went into his car with his guard.  Couldn't bear the cold any longer, but heard that David Oyelowo came out as well around midnight.
