I am coming from America with a few friends. We go to a lot of theatre on Broadway. We want to see something that we can't see in the US. Anyone heard of any great shows for the fall?

There are some London based people on here who probably have a better idea but i'd say, apart from the usual long runners, it's a little early to know what theatres like the National Theatre will be doing in October.

Perhaps Company in the West End might be worth a look at or A Very Very Very Dark Matter at the Bridge Theatre (London's newest theatre).

Elsewhere i've heard Everyone's Talking About Jamie is great which is booking until early October I believe.

Great long-runners: 42nd Street, Dreamgirls, Everybody's Talking About Jamie, Young Frankenstein. And if you like farce, try Mischief Theatre's shows (The Comedy About A Bank Robbery etc.).

You might also just catch The Importance of Being Earnest in the West End, and the new Tina Turner musical.

A Very Very Very Dark Matter definitely worth a try - it's Martin McDonagh's latest. And The Ferryman, which is fantastic, might well extend again - do keep an eye out!

Plus we'll get lots more announcements in the next month or so.

Thanks @mkmswain and @TimWright! I will definitely look into those to see if my friends might be interested.

I doubt Ferryman will extend, since Company is scheduled to open in late September at the Gielgud. Also, Ralph Fiennes and Sophie Okonedo will play Antony and Cleopatra at the National.
