Check the website every few days. I've managed to get tickets for both September and November in the last few weeks, I managed to get them from the ATG seller. Also if you turn at the box office on the day then there might be returns.
I notice there seems to be some available for the next couple of months - but nothing after that. Is this because it's not a busy time of year or are tickets being released for shows closer to the date? Thanks!
"You can't overrate Bernadette Peters. She is such a genius. There's a moment in "Too Many Mornings" and Bernadette doing 'I wore green the last time' - It's a voice that is just already given up - it is so sorrowful. Tragic. You can see from that moment the show is going to be headed into such dark territory and it hinges on this tiny throwaway moment of the voice." - Ben Brantley (2022)
"Bernadette's whole, stunning performance [as Rose in Gypsy] galvanized the actors capable of letting loose with her. Bernadette's Rose did take its rightful place, but too late, and unseen by too many who should have seen it" Arthur Laurents (2009)
"Sondheim's own favorite star performances? [Bernadette] Peters in ''Sunday in the Park,'' Lansbury in ''Sweeney Todd'' and ''obviously, Ethel was thrilling in 'Gypsy.'' Nytimes, 2000
I think they have been holding more seats back to release closer to the show date. Most of them are premium seats, but if you check often enough you'll find regular price stall seats. It's much easier than any hit show in New York to get into.

Question. How early can you go to the box office before the show to pick up the tickets. How long is the line? We say seeing both shows the same day.
