For those of us who live in New York City, here is a reminder that next week begins our annual Restaurant Week(s). New York's best restaurants will be serving three-course lunches for $20.12 in support of New York's Olympic Bid and three-course dinners for $35.00 (beverage, tax and gratuity additional).

Savor the cuisine of the city’s most talented chefs, and experience the quality, variety, and hospitality that makes New York the best restaurant city in the world.

For a list of participating restaurants, go to http://www.nycvisit.com/content/index.cfm?pagePkey=241

You can also make reservations on line at www.opentable.com

I will be going to Thalia (I have been to in the past and enjoy), Oceo (wanting to try it for a while), Estiatorio Milos, and Picholine.

Hope to see you there!

I love Restaurant week. I have booked the Gramercy Tavern. Last RW we did the River Cafe, Tocqueville (glass of wine was $14. and that was annoying), Eleven Madison Park and Union Pacific. It's such a wonderful opportunity to experience the great restaurants, without too much pain.
Incidentally, the Gotham Bar and Grill always has a lunch prix fixe available. One of the very best restaurants.
