I don't know if this has been posted on here, and I know this is a thread to poke fun at community theaters, however this theater group needs your prayers. This was on the news a while back. 3 members of this theater were shot and killed. Please send your support!

I've already seen In The Heights with Lin-Manuel. Also, I've heard not such good things about Guys and Dolls. How is Rock of Ages doing?

The only shows currently on broadway that I've seen are In The Heights and Avenue Q. I wanted to make an appearance to see Sutton Foster since I've seen her last two shows and am a pretty big fan. I wouldn't mind seeing West Side Story but will probably take a pass on 9 to 5.

I'm planning a NY trip in July and I've been kind of out of the Broadway world for a little bit. I've been reading on here a little bit lately though and wanted to know if this show line up sounds like a good one (keep in mind I can only make it up to NY about once a year at the MOST)

The tour cast is great! I saw the original company and the only character I really felt wasn't as good as the original was Janet. It's hard to compare to Sutton. But the tour is GREAT.

I sat on stage with my mom and step dad for SA...and yes it was awkward. Though not as bad as I thought it would be.

I read this whole thread and still don't really know what the purpose is...
We have people saying ITH is like Rent...so now no one can write a show set in a NYC neighborhood. Oh wait, Avenue Q is like Rent which would mean ITH is like Avenue Q.
And seriously, Lin isn't stealing other peoples music. He (as does EVERY writer) has inspirations. He even gives reference to Cole Porter (Give him some credit!). So what if his music resembles some of his inspirations? Every song

I'd say Avenue Q cause I know Sutton wont be in YF anymore and not sure about anyone else. But both are wonderful shows. Great line up!
