I saw it last night, and I thought it was fantastic!! I LOVED the cast, especially the Man in Chair! He is hilarious! I'm sure you won't be disappointed with the cast. I'd say they are top-notch.
It's pretty good and I really enjoyed myself. I don't think anything could compare to the original cast - I loved them all so much! - but everyone is very strong, and Jonathan Crombie makes a very good Man in Chair. The only person who underwhelmed me was Nancy Opel, but she has the hard job of following Beth Leavel. I just didn't laugh at her much.
I'm seeing it tomorrow night. Looking forward to it.
Cheyenne Jackson tickled me. AFTER ordering SoMMS a drink but NOT tickling him, and hanging out with Girly in his dressing room (where he DIDN'T tickle her) but BEFORE we got married. To others. And then he tweeted Boobs. He also tweeted he's good friends with some chick on "The Voice" who just happens to be good friends with Tink's ex. And I'm still married. Oh, and this just in: "Pettiness, spite, malice ....Such ugly emotions... So sad." - After Eight, talking about MEEEEEEEE!!! I'm so honored! :-)

I agree. I couldn't help but compare the tour cast to the original cast. It's kind of hard to live up to Beth and Sutton's performances, IMHO.
I was somewhat disappointed in the actresses who played Trix and Kitty, but then again, those are such throwaway roles. Updated On: 7/11/08 at 03:47 PM
The tour cast is great! I saw the original company and the only character I really felt wasn't as good as the original was Janet. It's hard to compare to Sutton. But the tour is GREAT.
Hmmm. I LOVED Andrea Chamberlain as Janet and thought Mark Ledbetter was fabulous as Robert, and I saw the tour 3 times (and the original Bway cast 15 times). But everybody has their favorites.

I wasn't able to enjoy it as much as I wanted to. The musical was fantastic, but I had a terrible migrane which caused me to puke right after the show. Also didn't help that I was in the last row of the balcony.
He's a faker, and you've been taken in by his con. And in doing so, you are enabling him. He is doing more damage to aspergers than papa's words ever could. -Chane/Liverpool on me having asperger syndrome.
Now I'm sad because I was just there! (Maybe next time. )
I was actually going to plan my trip to the West Coast around when Drowsy was there, but forces beyond my control dictated that I go in June. (I had a fab time though.)
Jonathan Crombie is SO good in the role. Man in Chair's big meltdown is one of the most hilarious moments in recent theatre history!
I didn't realize that James Moye had left the tour. He was wonderful in a role so closely identified in my mind with Danny Burstein that I was truly worried beforehand. But Mr. Moye's take on the character was hysterically funny.
(I completely agree about Mike Ditka, too!)
