You're right. Seeing it live is an absolutely amazing experience, it's such a human show so it does need to be seen live. I really do hope you get a chance to see it. Maybe you'll get lucky and a local theatre group will do it near you.
"As we all should probably have learned by now, to be a Stephen Sondheim fan is to have one's heart broken at regular intervals" - Frank Rich
Dearest, how can this be so? You were dead, you know. - Candide
Oh my god, this show has everything! Half naked guys and girl on girl action! - [title of show]
(My avatar? Why, yes! That is Laura Benanti making out with a chick!)
but lets see...back to the topic...i haven't seen NINE, and I don't know if it is a show I would really like, but I LOVE "Unusual Way." Laura Benanti's version is to DIE for
"The good news is I have an excellent Tony speech. The bad news is I've had it for forty-five years."-Elaine Stritch
If you loved Laura Benanti, then you should have heard Rebecca Luker do it. I generally find her to have all the charm & charisma of Wonder Bread, but she has the voice of an angel. Her delivery of the song was breathtaking.
Alot of mine are already here! Nine - Unusual Way (I like Linda Eder's version!) Legally Blonde - So Much Better Starlight Express - Starlight Express (It's catchy!?)
When I see the phrase "the ____ estate", I imagine a vast mansion in the country full of monocled men and high-collared women receiving letters about productions across the country and doing spit-takes at whatever they contain.

"Grease," the fourth revival of the season, is the worst show in the history of theater and represents an unparalleled assault on Western civilization and its values. - Michael Reidel
I have no especial 'Brooklyn' opinions, apart from being another one who rather likes 'Once Upon A Time'. :3
Also, I'm about to say something that's going to get me followed into an alley and beaten to within an inch of my life, but I was never that big on 'Follies'. It's taken me longer to click with shows, so I imagine I will love it one day, but I don't really care for it at the moment. Apart from 'Losing My Mind' (especially sung by Anthony Warlow XD) and 'The God-Why-Don't-You-Love-Me Blues'.
That's it really. Can I say goodbye to my family before the kicking begins?
I normally hate "Beauty School Dropout" even though I love Grease, and I normally hated the second-most recent revival, but I absolutely loved Billy Porter's "Beauty School Dropout" in that revival.
"Oh look at the time, three more intelligent plays just closed and THE ADDAMS FAMILY made another million dollars" -Jackie Hoffman, Broadway.com Audience Awards
I don't know CHESS enough to hate it, but I don't like most of the songs from it that I have heard, but I loooove "I Know Him So Well" and "Someone Else's Story." From shows I actually do hate: "Wishing You Were Somehow Here Again"-PHANTOM OF THE OPERA "Poor Unfortunate Souls"-THE LITTLE MERMAID "As If We Never Said Goodbye"-SUNSET BLVD. "Here I Am"-DIRTY ROTTEN SCOUNDRELS "See,I'm Smiling," "A Summer in Ohio," "Still Hurtin," "Goodbye, Until Tomorrow/I Could Never Change You"-THE LAST 5 YEARS "When You Got It, Flaunt It"-THE PRODUCERS
"Some people can thrive and bloom living life in a living room, that's perfect for some people of one hundred and five. But I at least gotta try, when I think of all the sights that I gotta see, all the places I gotta play, all the things that I gotta be at"
