Theatre Tuscaloosa and Shelton State Community College are once again partnering with the Alabama Conference of Theatre (ACT) to host the Alabama Community Theatre Festival (ACTFest). This is the fourth time ACTFest has been hosted in the Bean-Brown Theatre. Every other year, this festival is part of the national American Association of Community Theatre Festival (AACTFest). This is a nationals year! Members of the public are invited to purchase tickets to each of the individual performances below for $10 per ticket. Those who would like to attend three or more of the performances are encouraged to purchase an annual membership in ACT for $25, one of the benefits of which is admission to all ACTFest activities. Tickets to individual performances are now available. To purchase online, click here. Tickets may also be purchased by phone at 205.391.2277 or at the door starting 1 hour prior to each performance. Those who would like to attend the entire festival can invest in an annual membership in the Alabama Conference of Theatre. The Actor's Charitable Theatre (Tuscaloosa) presents Holy Ghosts - Saturday, November 5 at 2:25 p.m. Spark Theatre Company (Dothan) presents I and You - Saturday, November 5 at 3:55 p.m. Self Express Productions (Winfield) presents Fools - Saturday, November 5 at 5:25 p.m. Theatre Tuscaloosa presents Launch Day - Sunday, November 6 at 1:30 p.m. Wetumpka Depot Players presents A Storm Came Up - Sunday, November 6 at 3 p.m.
