Cool mornings have arrived in the River Region as the season turns to fall, but the laughter is still warm at rehearsals for the Wetumpka Depot Player's upcoming comedy, SEEING STARS IN DIXIE. Set in 1956 Natchez, Mississippi, Hollywood stars Elizabeth Taylor and Montgomery Clift have arrived to film Raintree County. Fierce competition at Clemmie's Tea Room for a small role in the movie brings out the best -and worst- of the town's colorful characters.

Directed by Depot veteran Kim Mason and written by Ron Osborne, the nostalgic comedy costumed with hats, gloves and hoop skirts runs the following dates: tonight, October 4-6th, 11-13th, 18-20th at 7:30 pm and October 14th at 2 pm.

Tickets are just $10 in advance and $12 at the door and online. Tickets may be reserved by calling the Depot at 334-868-1440 or by visiting the theatre's website at www.wetumpkadepot.com.
