MCAT Announces Auditions for CAMP ROCK THE MUSICAL, 8/13
MCAT announces auditions for its production of Disney's Camp Rock the Musical to open Sept. 16th at the historic Virginia Samford Theatre in collaboration with Shades VAlley Theatre Academy. Auditions will at Shades Valley High School auditorium on Saturday, Aug. 13 with sign up starting at 1 PM. A dance call will be held at 2:00 for ALL auditioning. After the dance call, you may be asked to stay and sing. Be prepared with 16 bars of a contemporary pop or pop/rock musical theatre song. No monologues will be required at the open call.
Callbacks will be held on Sunday, Aug. 14 beginning at 4:00 with dance and readings from the script, followed by vocal callbacks beginning at 6:30. All roles are open and will be cast from these auditions!! See the casting breakdown below for descriptions of the roles available. If you play an instrument please let us know. Rehearsals begin Monday, Aug. 15 from 5-8 and will continue nightly and on Saturdays from 10-6.
