Bard of Birmingham Present RICHARD III, Announce Auditions 8/20
This is Shakespeare as you have never experienced him! Audition to become a part of this important ensemble cast of gifted young actors in this edgy, contemporary production.
Because of the subject matter of this production, actors must achieve a minimum age of 12 no later than Sept 30 to be eligible to audition. The Bards encourages all actors ages 12-21 to audition - no acting experience is necessary.
Auditions will be held at East Lake United Methodist Church at 7753 1st Avenue South on Saturday, August 20, at 1 pm, and run until 4 pm. If necessary, callbacks will be held on the afternoon of Sunday August 21.
If cast, actors will be asked to pay a one-time supplies fee of $50. This helps us cover the cost of sets, props, makeup and costumes. Scholarships are available, so don't let the fee be a reason you don't audition.
