KVS is looking for young acting talent for Afropean // Human Being, a new creation with try outs in June 2019, premiering in February 2020.
Afropean// Human Being is the first theater piece written by Sukina Douglas. It's presenting the coming of age story of a young woman (Saira). Moving to a big city to go to university, she gets involved in the buzzing slam poetry scene that inspires her to take a critical journey into her own heritage, present and future. This thoroughly transforms her relationships with her mother, her best friend from back home (Chloé) and her new friend (Micah), a young slam poet and activist. The play will be written and staged in English. It will be produced by KVS in Brussels.

Auditions will take place at KVS BOX, Arduinkaai 7 Quai aux Pierres de Taille, 1000 Brussels.
