Beatrice Likes The Dark at Adventure Theatre MTC

A world premiere play by Helen Hayes Award winner Dani Stoller, based on the acclaimed children's book by April Genevieve Tucholke, directed by Patrick Flynn. The show follows Beatrice, a child for whom the daytime world feels overwhelming, but whose imagination comes alive in the dark, transforming everyday objects into magic and animals into confidants. The play explores the tender relationship between two very different sisters learning to understand and support one another. The cast includes Irene Hamilton as Beatrice, Chelsea Majors as Roo, Jordan Brown as Buttons, Hannah Taylor as Raven, Jordan Essex as Man 2, and Tobi Baisburd as Woman 2.
