Street Lamp Community Theatre is thrilled to announce our live production of "Green Days American Idiot", a show written by Billie Joe Armstrong and Michael Mayer.Director Matthew Peterson, Choreographer Stephanie Peterson, Music Director LaShelle Bray,Charlie Hannagan Band Lead, andLithia Knopp Stage Manager.Due to explicit lyrics and adult content, this show is recommended for ages 18 and older.Shows July 29th- August 7th.For tickets-http://street-lamp-community-theatre-non-profit.ticketlea...SHOW SYNOPSISJohnny, Tunny and Will struggle to find meaning in a post-9/11 world. When the three disgruntled men flee the constraints of their hometown for the thrills of city life, their paths are quickly estranged when Tunny enters the armed forces, Will is called back home to attend to familial responsibilities, and Johnnys attention becomes divided by a seductive love interest and a hazardous new friendship. An energy-fueled rock opera, American Idiot, features little dialogue and instead relies on the lyrics from Green Days groundbreaking album to execute the story line.
