Since Way Off Broadway's producers began revamping its Children's Theatre seasons in 2011 and 2012, some of the most popular productions have been those which have come straight from the Disney Vault. Over the last several season, the Children's Theatre at Way Off Broadway has produced productions of some of Disney's most popular movie titles including 101 Dalmatians, Cinderella, Aladdin, and, most recently, Peter Pan. This fall, Alice and all of her friends from Wonderland will find a home at Way Off Broadway when the theatre produces and area premier of Disney's Alice in Wonderland, Jr.

Way Off Broadway's guests will join Alice's madcap adventures in Wonderland as she chases the White Rabbit, races the Dodo Bird, gets tied up with the Tweedles, raps with a bubble-blowing Caterpillar, and beats the Queen of Hearts at her own game! Alice in Wonderland is a fast-paced stage adaptation of the timeless film, featuring classic Disney songs like "I'm Late," "The Un-birthday Song," and "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah." This fall, audiences will travel down the rabbit hole with Alice to this unbelievable land where anything can happen.

"Disney and all of their movies are such a part of our entertainment culture," says Bill Kiska, Way Off Broadway's Executive Producer. "We always have so much fun when we are able to bring their characters and stories to life on the stage. Audiences of all ages love Disney."

Way Off Broadway's production will be led by Mary Ellen Cameron as Alice with Bill Kiska as Tweedle Dum and the March Hare, Matt Rothenberg as the Mad Hatter and Tweedle Dee, Jordan B. Stocksdale as the Cheshire Cat and the Catepillar, Tori Weaver as the White Rabbit, and Melissa Ann Martin as the Queen of Hearts. Rounding out the cast as the various other characters Alice meets on her journey as Caitlin Barnes, Matthew Ciazza, Annie Moreno, and Luke Szukalski.

Disney's Alice in Wonderland, Jr. is based on the 1951 film and has a book and lyrics adapted for the stage by David Simpatico and music and lyrics adapted by Bryan Louiselle. Way Off Broadway's production is directed and staged by the theatre's Creative Director, Jordan B. Stocksdale.

The show runs from September 13 - November 8, 2014, with performances every Saturday afternoon and the 2nd and 4th Sunday of each month, as well as select added weekday performances throughout the year. Tickets are $17 per person with birthday party packages also available.
