Vagabond Players to Open 100th Season with GREATER TUNA

By: Aug. 12, 2015

The Vagabond Players, America's oldest continuously operating little theatre, proudly opens its 100th Season with the larger than real life comedy, Greater Tuna on September 4, and running weekends through September 27. Written by Jaston Williams, Joe Sears and Ed Howard and directed by Anthony Lane Hinkle, this production promises to start off this historic season with a very Big Bang!

Steven Shriner and Brian M. Kehoe portray twenty dysfunctional citizens of Greater Tuna, proudly the third smallest town in Texas. They play them all: bigots, zealots, hippies, sheriffs, you name its. The audience can hardly breath from laughing. This show was a tremendous hit during the Vagabonds' 81st season in 1996-97, and it is sure to be a repeat blockbuster. Put on your hat and get ye to the show.

Located at 806 S. Broadway, the Vagabond Theatre is easily accessible to patrons.

Show times are Friday and Saturday at 8:00; Sunday at 2:00

Tickets can be purchased online at www.vagabondplayers.org or at the door ($15-$20); special rates for groups available on line. Friday night performances feature special pricing of $15 for everyone. Plus, there is a $10 Thursday on Broadway! Performance on September 24th.
