The Suburban Players Announces Auditions For ONCE UPON A MATTRESS 10/10, 10/12

The Suburban Players will hold auditions for their 36th annual dinner theatre production. This year, the group will be presenting the delightful musical comedy "Once Upon a Mattress." Auditions are being held on Saturday, October 10th from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM and Monday, October 12th from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Saint Demetrios Greek Orthodox Church, 2504 Cub Hill Road in the Carney area of Baltimore County. No appointment is necessary.

Auditioners should come prepared with a song (bring sheet music) and be dressed for a light dance audition. An accompanist will be provided. You may also be asked to read from the script. The part of Princess Winifred has been cast. All other roles (20+ speaking/singing/dancing roles of various sizes) including a large chorus are open for men and women ages 16 and older.

John Desmone directs, Sally Tarr is the musical director, and Bambi Nevel Johnson choreographs. The show will run for three weekends beginning January 29, 2009 with no show on Super Bowl Sunday. Questions? Call 410-823-4805.
