Spotlighters Theatre presents two One-Man, One-Act Performances --- THINK TWICE!

THINK TWICE opens Friday, June 4, 2010 at 8pm conceived by Bob Russell, and directed by Rodney Bonds; THINK TWICE brings you an evening of enlightening theatre about the cello, evolution, music, murder, intelligent design, teaching and guts.

An evening that will make you THINK TWICE about what you really believe is true.

It's a mystery story, or maybe even two mysteries-as it begins, we are wondering: who is this professor who has arrived on stage so hesitantly and seemingly pre-occupied, and why is he lecturing us, and where is his cello? An hour later, as the piece reaches its conclusion, and we have received many clues about what this man may or may not have done, the questions are more concrete: what is real in this man's tale, and what is illusory? Is he sane?

In Rich Espey's Sapiens, we meet Adam, a Biology teacher whose job is on the line as he tries to navigate the stormy waters between Creationism and Evolution. One actor plays Adam as well as fourteen other characters he encounters in his journey, including an exacto-knife wielding student, an apocalypse-obsessed Aussie astronomer and a mysterious 18th century German woman who's really an optical illusion.

June 4 - June 27, 2010
Friday & Saturday at 8pm, and Sunday at 2pm
OneThursday performance, June 24 at 8pm
Talk Back with cast, crew and playwrights, immediately following the Sunday, June 20th matinee.
