Silhouette Stages Presents YOUNG FRANKENSTEIN THE MUSICAL
Silhouette Stages, a non-profit community theater in Howard County, MD, through special arrangement with Music Theatre International (MTI), presents the Baltimore-area premiere of Mel Brooks' Young Frankenstein, opening Friday, October 14th.
It's alive! The electrifying adaptation of Mel Brooks' monstrously funny film will leave you in stitches. Dr. Frederick Frankenstein (pronounced "Fronk-en-steen") inherits his family's estate in Transylvania. With the help of a hunchbacked side-kick, Igor (pronounced "Eye-gore"), and a leggy lab assistant, Inga (pronounced normally), Frederick finds himself in the mad scientist shoes of his ancestors, along with a host of madcap characters.

In 2015, Silhouette Stages was named one of the Top 5 community theaters in Maryland by MD Theatre Guide, and garnered 11 honors from DC Metro Theatre Arts, including Best Musicals (Spamalot and Godspell), Best Director, Best Actor, Best Actress, Best Featured Actor, Best Choreography, and Best Musical Direction.
