Laurel Mill Playhouse Hosts Auditions For PLAY IT AGAIN, SAM 8/2, 8/3

Laurel Mill Playhouse, 508 Main Street, Laurel, Md. will hold auditions for 3 men and 4 women (ages 20's to 40's) on Sunday, August 2 at 7:30 pm and Monday, August 3 at 7:30 pm. Call backs/read through will be Wednesday, August 5 at 7:30 pm. Director Keith Brown will have sides available for cold readings from the script. Produced by special arrangement with Samuel French Publishing Company, Play It Again, Sam will run October 2 through October 18 on Friday and Saturday evenings with two selected Sunday matinees.

Bookish and insecure with women, Allan's hero, Bogey comes to the rescue, with a fantastic bevy of beauties played out in hilarious fantasy sequences. Fixed up by friends with gorgeous women, he's so awkward that even Bogey's patience is tried. Allan mostly resembles a disheveled, friendly dog and this is what ultimately charms his best friend's wife, Linda into bed. It's a tough life, making it in the world of beautiful people but if you can't be a hero it helps to have one.
