Judy McLane & Philip Hernandez Return to Baltimore for Everyman Theatre Summer Cabaret

Broadway's Judy McLane (Mamma Mia!) and Philip Hernández (Les Misérables) bring dazzling musical entertainment to Everyman Theatre with Broadway Favorites: A Summer Cabaret, combining fun and adored show tunes with the intimate setting of Everyman Theatre's rehearsal hall for the sweet-sounding summer sparkle that only the best of Broadway can provide! With six shows only, Broadway Favorites: A Summer Cabaret is presented July 13 through 22, 2018, performed on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 PM and on Sundays at 2:00 PM.

"Whether it's 'The Impossible Dream' from Man of La Mancha or familiar tunes from Mamma Mia!, Broadway Favorites: A Summer Cabaret is sure to be a joyous experience," said Cabaret director Noah Himmelstein. "We are delighted to reunite the remarkably talented stars of 2017's Los Otros for an evening of best-loved Broadway entertainment."

Judy McLane has performed more than 4,000 shows of Mamma Mia! on Broadway, and is also the longest running lead-having starred as Donna Sheridan and Tanya for a combined 11 years. Judy received critical acclaim for her performance as Vienna in Johnny Guitar off-Broadway (Drama Desk Nomination and a Drama League Award for Distinguished Performance in the Theater), and has appeared on Broadway in Kiss of the Spider Woman performing duets with the legendary Chita Rivera, Aspects of Love with John Cullum, and Chess. Her national and international tours include Into the Woods, Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat with Donny Osmond, Big, and Side By Side By Sondheimdirected by Rob Marshall. As a worldwide concert and cabaret artist, Judy has performed as a soloist with many symphony orchestras including the Bolshoi Orchestra in Moscow, the National Orchestra of Lyon, France, National Symphony of Canada, National Symphony Orchestra, Baltimore, Buffalo, Cincinnati, Dallas, Detroit, Ft. Worth, Indianapolis, Memphis, Milwaukee, Naples, Oklahoma City, Oregon, Pittsburgh, Seattle, St. Louis, Southwest Florida, Toronto, among others. Screen appearances include the cult classic film, Were the World Mine and television roles on Madame Secretary, The Blacklist, Guiding Light, and Another World.

Philip Hernández is the only actor in Broadway history to have played both Jean Valjean and Inspector Javert in Les Misérables. He made his Broadway debut in the Original Cast of the Tony Award-winning Kander and Ebb musical Kiss of the Spider Woman, directed by Harold Prince. In Kiss, he created the role of Esteban and later went on to play the impassioned revolutionary Valentin in London's West End and on Broadway. Philip also created the role of the Reverend Gonzalez opposite Marc Anthony and Ruben Blades in the Original Cast of Paul Simon's The Capeman and played Juan Peron in Harold Prince's 25th Anniversary North American Tour of Evita. Philip has guest-starred on the CBS series Blue Bloods and on NBC's The Blacklist. He has a recurring role on Hulu's The Path and had a recurring role on the Fox series Gotham as Dr. Guerra. He played opposite Debra Messing on NBC's The Mysteries of Laura and appeared with Edie Falco and Tony Shalhoub on the HBO series Nurse Jackie. On the concert stage Philip has worked with the New York Philharmonic under the baton of Leonard Bernstein, Robert Shaw and Zubin Mehta and with Symphony orchestras throughout the United States.

McLane and Hernández have appeared together previously in productions of Kiss of the Spider Womanon Broadway, Man of La Mancha at Paper Mill Playhouse, and Los Otros at Everyman Theatre.

Broadway Favorites: A Summer Cabaret runs July 13 through 22, 2018, with performances on Fridays and Saturdays at 8:00 PM and Sundays at 2:00 PM.
