Cockpit in Court Summer Theatre, in residence at the Community College of Baltimore County, Essex, located at 7201 Rossville Blvd., offers an exciting and eclectic 41st season in 2013. John Desmone is in the director's chair for this season opener.

Inspired by the memoirs of stripper Gypsy Rose Lee, this musical tale of the ultimate stage mother in the 1920s explores the decline of vaudeville, the emergence of burlesque and the sinister side of show business.
