(see below for scheduling info)

The director is looking for girls who appear to be 8 - 13yrs old, who can sing and act, have strong but disciplined personalities and are willing to commit to being part of an adult theatre production.

ANNIE - We will be casting two girls who will alternate the role of Annie throughout the performance schedule. Each Annie will also be cast as one of the orphans so they will be participating in each performance of the production in either role. The director is seeking a very strong singer, a smart and focused girl who is interested in learning about acting. A confident and mature girl who is willing to work hard, and who can be naturally charming on stage. A very demanding role.

The ORPHANS - A group of young girls with a variety of personalities:
One strong, One shy, Some funny, Some smart... each one distinct and individual. ALL must be able to sing, some must sing VERY well. Ability to dance is helpful, but not crucial. But the maturity to rehearse and perform with adults IS CRUCIAL !

Prepare one short verse of a song (and have piano music in the correct key)
Be prepared to read a few lines of dialogue.
You may be asked to learn a line or two from a song in the show, to test vocal range.
You may be asked to learn a few dance steps - easy ones.

Auditions for ADULTS on:
Sat, February 13th, 1-4pm
Sun, February 14th, 1-4pm
Callbacks if necessary will be held on:
Mon, February 15th, 7-9:30pm

AUDITIONS ARE BY APPOINTMENT ONLY

DADDY WARBUCKS - middle-aged tycoon; a tenor or baritenor with natural charm onstage. Successful billionaire whose life has been consumed with making money and being "effective". Makes the transition into a warm and caring father-figure for Annie.

MISS HANNIGAN - PRECAST : Liz Boyer

GRACE FARRELL - 30 - 50, a warm and likeable soprano with a strong sense of self. Warbucks assistant; an excellent businesswoman and a very smart cookie.

ROOSTER HANNIGAN - middle-aged con man; tenor who can move very well.
Was once a very successful con artist who is not as slick (or as young) as he thinks he is. Strong personality and good comic ability required.

LILY ST REGIS - middle-aged con woman; character soprano who moves very well. Rooster's partner; appears dumb, but is actually not! Stuck in the past, and in her youth. Strong personality and good comic ability required.

FDR - President of the United States in 1933; character baritone - distinctive voice.
Similar appearance to FDR helpful, but not mandatory. Important supporting role.
